How to pick a Tiny Desk AI video generator

Search results for these generators are mostly the same idea at different prices. The differences that actually matter are unglamorous: what one finished clip costs, what happens when a render fails, whether the file is clean, and where your photo goes. Here is the checklist we would use on any of them, applied to this site too.

Price one finished clip, not one credit

Credits exist to hide arithmetic. The question worth asking is: what does one 14-second clip cost me here? Ours is 10 credits at 768P and 16 credits at 2K; the 11-second Five Strangers template is 8 and 13. The smallest pack, $6.99, buys exactly one 14-second 768P render, so the entry price is the real price of a clip.

A site that will not tell you the per-clip number before checkout is telling you something.

Ask what happens when a render fails

Generation is not guaranteed: upstream models time out, reject a photo and occasionally return a broken frame. A serious site refunds the credits of a failed run without a support ticket. Ours does, automatically, which is why the balance is the record — not an estimate you were shown at checkout.

Check for watermarks and burned-in text

Some generators keep the free version free by stamping a logo or a handle into the frame. Look at a real exported file, not the marketing page. Our renders are requested as clean footage with no titles, subtitles, logos or watermarks, and the site does not add a badge afterwards.

Know where the photo goes

You are uploading a face. The privacy page should say what is stored, for how long, and what the generated file is kept for. If a site is vague about that, assume the vaguest reading.

Be suspicious of “official”

No generator is the official tool of the series the trend borrows from. Any site claiming a partnership with NPR, a label or an artist is either confused or lying, and either way it is not a reason to trust it with your photo. A clear “not affiliated” line is a better signal than an official-sounding badge.

How this site scores

Per-clip price published, failed renders refunded, clean output, one photo per render, independent and disclaimed. The weak spots are equally plain: there is no free tier, the length is fixed by the template, and the output is silent so the performance is visual only.

If that trade suits you, the workspace is one upload away.
